Massena LAB and independent watchmaker Raúl Pagès have reunited for their third collaborative timepiece—the Noctograph. This new release exemplifies their shared dedication to minimalist elegance, haute horology, and restrained aesthetics. Pagès, the recipient of the inaugural LVMH Watch Prize, once again brings his meticulous craftsmanship to a creation designed to resonate with purists and collectors alike.
A Refined Collaboration with Purposeful Design
Encased in polished stainless steel, the 38.5mm Noctograph strikes a perfect balance between wearability and visual distinction. Its two-tone dial reflects a thoughtful interplay of textures and hues. A vertically brushed midnight blue mainplate sets a calming tone, while the rhodium-plated chapter ring features a radial-brushed finish encircled by a clean, black railroad track motif for time indication.
The design remains intentionally minimalist, with no numerals to distract from the composition. Leaf-shaped hands offer a traditional yet elegant aesthetic, paired with a discreet Massena LAB signature and a tonal small seconds display at 6 o’clock—adding depth without disrupting the symmetry.
Mechanical Artistry with Swiss Precision
Beneath the refined dial lies the M660 movement, a Swiss-made caliber that delivers a 60-hour power reserve. The movement’s high-end finishing is visible through the sapphire crystal caseback, where enthusiasts can admire hand-chamfered bridges, plates, and Côtes de Genève stripes. Pagès adds a personal flourish by engraving his iconic “Poinçon Pagès” tortoise emblem onto the movement, marking both quality and identity.
