Maybach Eyewear Launches Global First Collaboration

Following the release of its Quincy Icon collection, MAYBACH Icons of Luxury has renewed its connection with the music industry through a global eyewear collaboration with multi-platinum Indian rapper Badshah. As the first South Asian creative to partner with the luxury house, this collaboration marks a significant milestone for both Badshah and MAYBACH, coming hot on the heels of the rapper’s North America tour.

MAYBACH CEOs Jutta Kahlbetzer and Wolfgang Thelen said, “For the first time, we are seamlessly integrating MAYBACH’s rich heritage with the distinctive artistic expression embodied by Badshah, reinterpreting modern luxury from the lens of diversity and inclusivity.” They added, “By aligning with a creative architect like Badshah, MAYBACH Eyewear not only engages with the dynamic Indian market but also honors the nation’s diverse cultural landscape.”

A Capsule of Distinctive Designs

The collaboration features a capsule of five limited-edition optical glasses and sunglasses co-designed by Badshah, who had complete creative freedom. The collection includes MAYBACH’s signature THE ARTIST III and THE KING III silhouettes, chosen for their contemporary appeal and alignment with the rapper’s streetwear style.

For the rimless THE ARTIST III, Badshah introduced curved titanium temple forms inspired by sound waves, available in “Electric Yellow” and “Deep Blue.” THE KING III aviators pay homage to India’s natural beauty with a “Camouflage” model, a Himalayas-inspired “Snow Camouflage,” and a “Tigers of India” design celebrating the national animal. The line also includes a special edition encrusted with 90 diamonds, produced in an extremely limited run of just five units.

Balancing Art and Function

Badshah reflected on the process, saying, “Designing eyewear that not only looked visually appealing but also felt comfortable—striking the perfect balance between form and function—posed a unique challenge during the design phase, yet it significantly enhanced my overall experience. This collaboration is truly one of a kind, and I am immensely grateful to be part of this historic moment.”

The MAYBACH x Badshah limited-edition eyewear is available exclusively at Eternity Lifestyles in India and select MAYBACH Eyewear retailers worldwide, with prices starting at $2,850 USD.
