Independent watchmaker MB&F unveils its latest M.A.D. Edition in collaboration with British–Nigerian artist Yinka Ilori. This limited collection, titled “Grow Your Dreams,” introduces three vibrant variants — Sun, Nature and Water — each embodying themes of growth and optimism.

Drawing inspiration from Ilori’s colorful design language, the M.A.D. 1S retains its original streamlined silhouette while showcasing bold new details. Every model features a Swiss-made LaJoux-Perret G101 single-cylinder movement, paired with a titanium rotor engraved with a tree motif. The anodized finish of the rotor shifts across three hues: bright yellow for Sun, vivid green for Nature and deep blue for Water.

Artistic Details Elevate the Design

To enhance visual depth, the collection incorporates a precision-machined bezel groove filled with HyCeram liquid ceramic, hand-polished to deliver a rainbow-like sheen. The aluminum baseplate adds texture through wave-pattern stamping, while Super-LumiNova accents highlight both the contours and Ilori’s engraved phrase “Grow Your Dreams.”

Each watch also includes a mismatched rubber strap imprinted with leaf motifs, reinforcing the natural theme. Limited to 400 pieces per colorway, these timepieces blend Ilori’s storytelling with MB&F’s avant-garde craftsmanship, creating wearable art that celebrates creativity and optimism.

Availability

For pricing details and purchasing options, visit MB&F’s official website. Collectors can expect strong demand for this trio, given its fusion of design innovation and symbolic meaning.
