McLaren Automotive and McLaren Racing have unveiled Project: Endurance, a rare opportunity for motorsport enthusiasts to own a 2027 McLaren Le Mans Hypercar. This exclusive program goes far beyond traditional ownership. It places customers right inside McLaren’s World Endurance Championship (WEC) campaign.
The hypercar itself shares DNA with McLaren’s official LMDh race car. Developed in partnership with Dallara, it features a rear-wheel-drive, V6 twin-turbo hybrid powertrain and is built to exacting factory race standards. Production will be strictly limited, ensuring the rarity and prestige of each unit.
Factory Access and Full Track Integration
Project: Endurance offers more than just a high-performance vehicle. Customers will receive behind-the-scenes access to McLaren’s testing, development, and racing operations. This immersive experience includes insider involvement in McLaren’s pursuit of motorsport’s Triple Crown: Le Mans, Monaco, and the Indy 500—all in a single season.
Participants in the program will also join a two-year global track tour, gaining entry to elite circuits around the world. With personalised coaching, full pit crew support, and the ability to train alongside McLaren’s professional drivers, owners will experience the adrenaline of being part of a factory team.
A Statement from McLaren Leadership
“This incredible opportunity delivers a new dimension in McLaren customer partnership,” said Nick Collins, CEO of McLaren Automotive.
Zak Brown, CEO of McLaren Racing, added, “It’s a chance to get closer to the action—and own a true race car.”
