The GRAMMY Award-winning rock/pop band Maroon 5 will make their first regional tour in the Middle East, hosted by Live Nation ME in collaboration with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi), Yas Island, Abu Dhabi’s leading entertainment hub, and official hospitality partner W Abu Dhabi – Yas Island. Maroon 5’s previous concerts in the UAE have been among the most popular, and this show is expected to sell out as well!
With the announcement of TikTok sensation Issam Alnajjar as the supporting act for the UAE’s fastest-selling concert, Maroon 5, appearing live at Etihad Arena on May 6, Live Nation is eager to turn the heat up a notch.
Maroon 5, a multi-platinum powerhouse and one of the world’s most popular bands, will perform classics like US Diamond breakout single “Girls Like You,” platinum-selling “Beautiful Mistakes,” “Sugar,” “Maps,” “Animals,” and more at a concert in May.
Issam Alnajjar, the renowned teen sensation, and singer-songwriter, is set to be the supporting act for this massive event, bringing his hottest hits to the grand stage. Issam has gone from recording covers at home to achieving international fame, including a billboard in Times Square in New York City, over 500 million views on TikTok, and over 87 million views on YouTube.
Issam also racked up approximately 24 million Spotify streams and topped Spotify’s US and Global Viral 50 Charts, among other achievements. ‘Hadal Ahbek,’ his composition, peaked at #1 on Apple Music’s Global Hits and #20 on Viral Hits. It also ranked #1 on Spotify Viral Global, #1 in 25 local markets, including the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, France, and Mexico, #2 in another 16 markets, and #1 in 24 local markets. In October 2021, he released his debut album, Bare, which featured “Hadal Ahbek”, as well as the smash, hit remixes of the single by Loud Luxury and Danna Paola.
