Jasmine is an award-winning watercolor artist from Taiwan and an AWS silver medal winner. She has a very recognizable style and aesthetics. The jury of various international competitions highly appreciated her soft, intimate paintings.
“Mature painting techniques come with the accumulation of experience; no one is able to paint a watercolor well at the very beginning,” says Jasmine. Her latest achievements include her work, “Enchanted with Venice, ” which won the Silver Medal of Honor in the 149th Annual International Exhibition of the American Watercolor Society and the “Best of Show” in Water media Showcase competition 2015.
Her watercolor, “Yellow Roses”, was awarded “The Jerry’s Artarama Award” at the NWS 95th International Exhibition; and her work, “Faith”, awarded as Splash 17: Inspiring Subjects Competition winner and won the Di Di Deglin Award in the 148th Annual International Exhibition of the American Watercolor Society.
In addition, her watercolor, “White X’mas”, was selected for The Matt Bruce RI Memorial Award at the 204th International Exhibition at Royal Institute of Watercolor Artists (RI)
Jasmine has been featured in the Art of Watercolor and her works have been included in “’Recipes of Transparent Watercolor 2’”, published by Japan Watercolor Society, and “Masters of Watercolor: From East to West”. “The style I am seeking is the expressiveness combining classical delicacy and elegance and modern, abstract structures,” says Jasmine.
Jasmine now enjoys her watercolor creation in Taiwan and has been invited to participate in major watercolor exhibitions around the world.
