Mercedes-Maybach has introduced its most performance-driven model to date—the SL 680 Monogram Series. Teased in mid-2024 and now officially debuting across European markets, this limited-edition convertible blends Maybach’s ultra-luxury ethos with grand touring sportiness, marking a bold chapter in the brand’s legacy of craftsmanship and innovation.
Distinct Design Meets Grand Touring Power
Available in two striking design concepts—“Red Ambience” and “White Ambience”—the SL 680 Monogram Series showcases Maybach’s bespoke artistry. Each variant features a PixelPaint-patterned bonnet, paired with a two-tone paint job and crystal-white Nappa leather interiors. A hallmark chrome A-shaped grille, rose gold-accented headlights, and 21-inch forged wheels lend the model a commanding road presence.
Under the hood, the SL 680 houses a 4.0-litre biturbo V8 engine producing 585 horsepower, combined with semi-active hydraulic suspension and 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive. Rear-axle steering and enhanced insulation make it as agile as it is serene, while the acoustic soft top ensures open-air luxury at any speed.
Crafted Luxury and Bespoke Personalisation
Inside the cabin, every detail reflects Maybach’s commitment to refined living. Ventilated seats with a subtle floral motif, hand-stitched accents, and silver chrome trims elevate the tactile experience. Owners are offered over 50 MANUFAKTUR colour options, though the curated “Red” and “White Ambience” palettes epitomise the model’s elegant duality.
The SL 680 Monogram Series embodies both driving exhilaration and chauffeured comfort, distinguishing itself as the marque’s most avant-garde offering to date. With European deliveries now commencing, this model sets a new standard for open-top luxury and personalization in the Maybach universe.
