Misk Art Institute has established three strategic partnerships during the Misk Global Forum 2025 in Riyadh, held on November 19–20 under the theme “Created By Youth.” The collaborations aim to enhance creative pathways for artists while strengthening Saudi Arabia’s arts and culture landscape.
The agreements include a collaboration with MAXXI Museum in Rome, giving Saudi professionals exposure to international museum practices and expert-led masterclasses through Misk Art Institute programs. Additionally, memoranda of understanding with Jeddah University and Taibah University will promote student development, academic exchange, and broader cultural engagement.
Supporting Artists and Education
Through these partnerships, Misk Art Institute continues to develop artist-led initiatives and empower creative talent. Reem Alsultan, CEO, stated: “These partnerships consolidate Misk Art Institute’s role as an enabler of the national creative infrastructure and a trusted platform for the development of arts in the Kingdom. By connecting the arts with other sectors, including education, we’re building pathways for creativity to empower the next generation of creatives and advance cultural engagement.”
The institute maintains its influence as a key cultural institution by linking artists, organizations, investors, and the wider community. Year-round programs, such as exhibitions, training pathways, and residencies, provide opportunities for artists to shape the local and international cultural scene.
Driving Innovation and Collaboration
Each strategic partnership offers artists access to resources, visibility, and innovative practices, fostering a dynamic national creative ecosystem. By connecting the arts and education sectors, Misk Art Institute supports collaboration and strengthens the Kingdom’s creative infrastructure. These initiatives aim to empower future generations of creatives while elevating cultural engagement across Saudi Arabia.
