Tokyo-based Nanamica has partnered with Munich’s A Kind of Guise, renowned for its German manufacturing and premium materials, to launch a minimal yet highly functional collection. The collaboration draws inspiration from everyday urban life, weaving a playful narrative around a stylish Tokyo dog walker. The collection emphasizes functional beauty, creating garments that effortlessly align with the rhythm of city living.
The line-up includes a range of standout pieces, such as a modern leather jacket reimagined from a vintage German military blouson, featuring Nanamica’s signature Coolmax cotton house check lining. Other key items include a GORE-TEX crew jacket, an insulation shirt and pants, a Derbin shirt with a hand-printed paisley pattern naturally air-dried in sunlight, as well as a shoulder bag and a Boston bag. Each piece combines practicality with distinctive design, offering subtle variations and attention to detail that reflect both brands’ craftsmanship.
Priced between ¥23,100 and ¥253,000 JPY (approximately $150 to $1,620 USD), the Nanamica x A Kind of Guise collection will be available from December 4, 2025. Customers can shop the collection through the official websites of both brands as well as at selected retail locations, providing a seamless opportunity to access this thoughtfully curated urban lifestyle line.
