After a relatively quiet start to the year, sneaker brands are officially shifting into gear for 2026. This week sees a wide-ranging slate of releases from New Balance, Nike, Salomon, ASICS, Jordan Brand, and Saucony, signaling that the post-holiday lull is officially over. Before diving into the 10 key launches arriving over the next few days, it’s worth revisiting the major headlines that shaped the past week in footwear.

Our annual roundup, 26 Sneaker Releases to Look Forward to in 2026, set the tone, but several late-breaking stories could have easily earned a spot. The NikeSKIMS Air Rift pack surfaced for the first time, while Hiroshi Fujiwara previewed a fragment design x Nike Mind 001 mule. The Air Force 1 Low also had a moment, with Chrome Hearts x NOCTA imagery appearing alongside a Swarovski-covered pair made for Ja Morant.

Elsewhere, Travis Scott’s Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Pink Pack” was previewed, the Air Jordan 1 “Royal” was confirmed to return later this year, and Pharrell’s adidas VIRGINIA Adistar Jellyfish “Team Royal Blue” was officially locked in for a February re-release. Bad Bunny’s adidas BadBo 1.0 resurfaced, Kyrie Irving’s ANTA KAI3 debuted in a festive “CNY” colorway, and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s Converse SHAI 001 “Ares Grey” received a confirmed release date.

With last week’s news in the rearview, here’s a closer look at the most important sneaker drops arriving this week.
