More than 200 school children arrived at Expo City Dubai on Monday. They were the first participants in Expo School Journeys, a project of the Expo School Programme, and the first field trips since Expo 2020 Dubai closed.
The students had the chance to witness the recently released Terra Journey and Alif Journey, which provide fascinating science shows and special workshops for schools on subjects like saving water, preserving animal habitats, coding, and robotics.
The successful World Expo’s legacy will be continued and the next generation of innovators and change-makers will be inspired by the Expo School Programme’s growing educational offerings.
For school groups who have reserved in advance, general admission is free; workshops and the science show are extra. Schools are encouraged to visit schools.expocitydubai.com to make travel arrangements.
