Frida Kahlo is celebrated for her passion and dedication to art and indigenous Mexican culture. She is best known for her self-portraits that depict physical and emotional pain through vibrant colours. Her passionate art is coming to life for the first time in America in the “Frida Kahlo, An Immersive Biography” exhibition.
Following the success of the exhibition in Canada and Europe, Primo Entertainment and Loud and Live teamed up to deliver this one-of-a-kind event to Phoenix. The show will travel across the United States before heading to Latin America.
The Frida Kahlo Corporation and Layers of Reality, a digital arts institute in Spain, collaborated on the immersive biography. It exhibits Kahlo’s work in seven different transforming environments, allowing admirers to immerse themselves in her life and experience her art.
Digital art, historical images, projections, and installations will be used to tell Kahlo’s tale. Virtual reality experiences allow fans to relive the most important moments in her life and career. On July 8, the show will open at Walter House, located at 702 North 21st Avenue in Phoenix.
