The newest addition to Abu Dhabi’s mega project treatment is Ramhan Island, which was announced last week. Located east of Jubail Island, it may be connected to the mainland by bridge or via Jubail, with driving times of 10 minutes to Yas Island, 15 minutes to Abu Dhabi Airport, and 18 minutes to Saadiyat Island. Eagle Hills, a real estate company founded by EMAAR mastermind Mohamed Ali Alabbar, is leading the Ramhan Island update project.
The island is set to have an impressive list of features, including the construction of 1,800 villas, a 120-room luxury hotel, 900 marina apartment residences, a 1.7km retail strip, 120 marina berths, a wellness center, restaurants, a beach bar, green spaces, jogging paths, a nursery, a mosque, a school, and more.
Ramhan Island is set to provide lavish villa choices, with the most high-end options featuring a private beach. The residential aspect of the development will be split into four neighborhoods – Marine, Breeze, Cove, and Views. Moreover, the project will include floating villas that allow for overwater living, complete with views of the open sea and nearby sandbars. Alongside numerous luxury amenities nearby, including fine dining options, a wellness center, and an infinity pool, the island will remain just a short distance away from the Abu Dhabi mainland.
