Ranganath Krishnamani: Creating fascinating illustrations

Ranganath Krishnamani is a multi-disciplinary designer who specializes in illustration, user experience, and art direction. He developed an interest in design from a young age, and his passion for it has only grown over time. His sources of inspiration include vintage architecture, street art, and machinery, and he finds time to explore these interests when he is not working on his designs.

Ranganath’s work experience includes senior experience designer at Adobe and head of the design team at RedBus. He now works independently with his studio, Liquid Ink. Indian architecture, symbology, and machinery are Ranganath’s primary influences, and he explores these themes in his design work.

The COVID-19 pandemic has affected everyone in different ways, and Ranganath’s work has evolved during this time. His Lockdown series was a positive expression of how humans have adapted to the new situation and found ways to stay positive and salute the invincible human spirit. Ranganath believes that personal projects are a source of strength in his work, as they allow him the freedom to express himself and remove the boundaries of design briefs, style, or deadlines.

Design plays a significant role in educating people and raising awareness, and visuals have a lasting impact. Ranganath believes that design is the best tool for telling a story and making a memorable impact. In times of uncertainty, people turn to the digital world for ways to foster wellness and health, and design plays a crucial role in this area.

What keeps Ranganath alive and zestful is his workbasket, which includes a diverse array of projects such as illustration, mural art, and app design. His self-initiated projects provide him with creative satisfaction and allow him to immerse himself in the pool of art and design.

Ranganath Krishnamani is a talented and experienced multi-disciplinary designer who has a deep passion for design. He draws inspiration from vintage architecture, street art, and machinery, and his work has evolved during the COVID-19 pandemic.
