Dubai’s luxury dining scene is welcoming a new private dining concept: The R Table, an intimate culinary experience created by founder Rashmi Singhania. Designed around just 10 guests per sitting, the concept combines chef-led tasting menus, cultural storytelling and meaningful conversation, offering a fresh addition to Dubai’s growing experiential dining landscape.
Launching this June, The R Table introduces a new approach to private dining in Dubai through its philosophy of “10 Seats, One Table, Endless Conversations.” Rather than operating as a traditional restaurant or supper club, the experience brings together a carefully curated group of guests for immersive evenings where food serves as the starting point for connection.

Founder Rashmi Singhania developed The R Table after years of exploring food cultures across Asia, Europe and the Middle East. Born and raised in Kolkata, her interest in cooking began at an early age before evolving into a passion for hospitality, travel and cultural storytelling.
Throughout her travels, Singhania explored everything from bustling street-food markets to hidden local restaurants, discovering how cuisine brings communities together across cultures. Those experiences ultimately inspired the creation of The R Table in Dubai.

Every edition of The R Table will feature a different culinary theme inspired by global cuisines and cultural narratives.
The debut experience, RASA: Seven Stories from India’s Streets, presents a seven-course tasting menu that reinterprets India’s iconic street food through a contemporary fine dining lens. Each course explores the memories, regional traditions and flavours that have shaped India’s culinary heritage while presenting them in an elevated format.
Additionally, the inaugural event will host a select group of guests and influencers to introduce the concept ahead of future editions.
