In a stunning fusion of luxury and legacy, Real Madrid has announced an exclusive multi-year partnership with Louis Vuitton, naming the French maison as the official formal and travel wear supplier for its men’s and women’s football teams, as well as the men’s basketball team. The collaboration reflects a powerful alignment of two global institutions defined by excellence, heritage, and innovation.
The bespoke wardrobe has been designed by Pharrell Williams, Louis Vuitton’s Men’s Creative Director, who brings his signature blend of sophistication and modernity to the capsule. The collection features custom-tailored suits, ready-to-wear ensembles, and exclusive accessories, created not only for style but also functionality — ensuring that players and staff travel and appear in uncompromising elegance.
Crafted Exclusivity Meets Sporting Prestige
The formal looks include jackets and trousers with embossed VVN leather labels, LV Soft shoes, and a refined selection of accessories such as embroidered caps and belts with palladium buckles. Designed to reflect Real Madrid’s iconic status, these pieces subtly channel the club’s identity while maintaining Louis Vuitton’s timeless aesthetic.
One of the partnership’s highlights is a bespoke travel line, exclusively made for the teams. Items such as the Horizon 55 suitcase, Keepall bag, and Christopher backpack are rendered in classic Monogram canvas, enriched with white-and-gold accents and the “RM” insignia. These pieces are not for commercial release, further reinforcing the exclusive nature of the alliance.
Pietro Beccari, CEO of Louis Vuitton, explained the vision: “Real Madrid stands for excellence and evolution. That energy fuels what we do at Louis Vuitton. This wardrobe was made to move with that same spirit — pieces that travel with purpose, strength, and style.”
A Campaign Framed in Grandeur
The visual campaign unveiling the collaboration makes a bold statement. Set outside the Santiago-Bernabéu Stadium, Real Madrid stars including Éder Militão, Dani Carvajal, Kylian Mbappé, Jude Bellingham, Vinicius Júnior, and Thibaut Courtois are photographed atop classic Louis Vuitton trunks, visually bridging the gap between football royalty and luxury craftsmanship.
This move also underscores Louis Vuitton’s growing stature in elite sports, having previously designed trophy trunks for the FIFA World Cup, Ballon d’Or, and Roland-Garros. The new partnership with Real Madrid positions the maison at the heart of football’s most celebrated institution.
Emilio Butragueño, Director of Institutional Relations at Real Madrid, commented: “Both institutions transcend time and tradition. We aim not just to build a legacy but to inspire.”
With the world’s most decorated football club now dressed by one of the most revered names in luxury fashion, the Louis Vuitton x Real Madrid collaboration promises to redefine the aesthetics of elite sport — elevating the matchday ritual and team travel into a new era of haute style.
