Rick Owens and Dr. Martens continue their collaboration, presenting three monumental silhouettes: the 1860 Pentalace Boot, the 1460 Megalace Boot, and the Steel Toe Boot. Following their previous release in March 2024, this new drop channels darkness into the iconic Dr. Martens designs while exploring exaggerated proportions.
The boots are grounded by Dr. Martens’ signature Quad sole, providing a commanding platform rise. Each model is crafted from black Republic leather, featuring geometric tongues and a matte finish. The knee-high Pentalace Boot features Owens’ crossed Megalace system, while the 1460 Megalace Boot reinterprets the design at ankle height for everyday wear. The Steel Toe Boot seamlessly blends industrial utility and gothic minimalism, highlighted by grey wraparound laces and single-welt stitching.
Release Details
All three boots will be available on October 16 through both brands, HBX, and select retailers. This collection demonstrates the designers’ commitment to bold proportions and distinctive, avant-garde footwear design.
