A lengthy corridor inside the Souq Al-Zal area is an art gallery that uses a collection of antiquities, carpets, locally made shoes and clothing, swords, tools, and utensils to portray scenarios from Saudi Arabia in the 1970s and 1980s.

The area, which is a part of the third Riyadh Season, has displays of rare antique goods, restaurants and cafes, and festivities honouring the Kingdom’s rich legacy.

The stalls and stores were created to mimic the past and provide visitors a chance to experience things the way they were done in the past.

The gallery exhibits handicrafts, paintings by Saudi artists, and a variety of books and cassette cassettes from more than 40 years ago.

One of the oldest traditional markets in Saudi Arabia, Souq Al-Zal in Al-Masmak Palace is well known for selling antique collectibles, cloaks, furs, leather, shemaghs, and many kinds of incense.

Up until January 3 from 3 p.m. until 10 p.m., the gallery is accessible. The webpage for the Riyadh Season sells tickets.
