Ronnie Fieg has unveiled Kith’s newest flagship store in Chicago, alongside the full “World’s Fair” ASICS collaboration, which is set to debut this weekend. The collection comprises eight distinctive sneakers, each paying homage to global cities and countries that have hosted the historic World’s Fair, thereby linking New York and Chicago through a shared heritage of innovation and design.
Highlights include four premium GEL-LYTE III models inspired by South Korea, Italy, Canada, and Brazil, a Chicago-themed GEL-KAYANO 14, a US-focused GEL-KAYANO 12.1, a Japan-inspired GEL-MAI 0.1 featuring a mesh underlay with synthetic leather overlays, and a France-themed GEL-LYTE III.I. Each pair features special co-branding and premium finishes reflecting its city or country of origin.
The Kith Chicago flagship will host the collection launch on October 4, followed by a global release across Kith stores and online on October 6. A pre-launch event on October 3 will feature a Ronnie Fieg-curated ASICS panel and an exhibition of select collections, with access limited to Kith Loyalty members via a special drawing.
In under 15 years, Fieg has expanded Kith into a lifestyle empire, known for high-profile sneaker collaborations and premium fashion offerings. The “World’s Fair” collection continues this legacy, blending city-inspired storytelling with meticulous design.
