Samar is a versatile artist, transitioning from an Art Director and Illustrator to a UX/UI designer. With a focus on delivering creative and customized solutions, Samar has honed her skills in providing design solutions tailored to her clients’ needs. Her journey in design led her to embrace a user-centric mindset, which sparked her interest in user experience design.
Through her experience working with a diverse range of clients, Samar has developed strong communication skills and the ability to actively listen to clients’ requirements. Her natural empathy allows her to understand and address their needs effectively. This flexibility and adaptability have proven valuable in meeting various design requirements and deadlines.
Motivated by the desire to solve problems and improve people’s lives, Samar is transitioning to UX design. She aspires to create digital products that are both useful and delightful, enhancing user experiences. Her ultimate goal is to work with an innovative company that values professional and personal growth, offering a flexible work environment.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Samar enjoys engaging in fitness activities such as spinning, hiking, and stand-up paddleboarding. She also finds solace in reading books on performance psychology, biographies, and personal development while listening to lo-fi or jazz music. In her free time, she takes long beach walks, accompanied by her favorite podcasts, or indulges in sketching on her iPad.
Samar possesses a range of UX skills, including design thinking, user research (competitive analysis, surveys, interviews, user personas, and stories), user flows and journey maps, information architecture, wireframing and prototyping, usability testing, and visual style guides. With this skill set, she is equipped to tackle complex UX challenges and create engaging and user-friendly digital experiences.
