Sevil Dolmacı Dubai has launched Pop of Time, a vibrant summer group exhibition that explores how contemporary artists express cultural memory and modern identity through the lens of pop aesthetics. The show brings together nine international artists whose works harness neon colour, graphic language, and nostalgic visual cues to reflect on the rhythms of the digital age.
Blending Aesthetics with Commentary
Featuring artists such as Ebru Döşekçi, Sabine Boehl, Hiba Kalache, and Matteo Mandelli, the exhibition bridges playful visual culture with deeper social narratives. Works by Jacopo di Cera, Sinem Sezgin Bozkurt, Emre Namyeter, Onur Hastürk, and Deniz Özuygur further enrich the show, transforming Dubai’s summer atmosphere into a backdrop for vivid reflections on time, media, and memory.
A Contemporary Dialogue Through Pop
“Pop of Time” goes beyond surface visuals. It positions pop culture as an active narrative device—one that documents the present while revisiting collective pasts. Through curated juxtapositions and stylistic intensity, the exhibition questions how visual culture shapes identity and engages with critical issues in today’s art world.
The exhibition runs until September 9 at Sevil Dolmacı Dubai, Building 11-R04, Dubai Design District.
