The Sharjah National Day Celebrations Committee is organising shows and activities in Kalba, Al Bataeh, and Wadi Al Helo on November 26, 28, and 29, 2021. The events also merge with the ongoing celebrations for the 50th UAE National Day which is on December 2.

A classic car parade, falconry and heritage shows, as well as folk and artistic performances that will celebrate 50 years of the UAE’s progress, will be a part of the big celebrations. Showcasing the heritage of Sharjah to the visitors, Kalba will see a display of fireworks across the city on November 26, along with national songs. The show will begin at 4 PM with the staging of a National Operetta. Motoring fans across the city will get to witness a classic car and bike parade along with several folk shows and a concert by popular Emirati singer Faisal Al Jasim.

Al Bataeh will host an array of cultural activities on November 28 and will stage Emirati heritage shows presented by Almtaff Association from 9 to 11 AM. Additionally, there will also be a 50th-anniversary parade, giving visitors a glimpse of UAE’s history and a chance to explore artefacts exhibited in pavilions. Wadi Al Helo’s National Day celebrations will take place on November 29, with the popular Dibba Al Harbiya band’s performance. An exclusive event on falconry hosting insights from experts will take place. Visitors will get to know how falcons are used in hunting, in addition to workshops and exhibitions about falcons that highlight their importance in UAE’s national heritage. Furthermore, the 50th National Day celebrations will also take place across the emirate of Sharjah, including Khorfakkan, Al Madam, Dibba Al Hisn, Al Hamriyah, Kalba, and Al Dhaid, and various other key cultural and national destinations.
