The immersive and unique theatrical production Narratives of the Place (Sard Al Makan), which commemorates the history of Sharjah and its incredible journey and triumphs over the past 50 years, will premiere at Al Majaz Amphitheater in Sharjah today (Tuesday, January 25) at 9:00 p.m.
The grand production, which is organized by Sharjah Government Media Bureau (SGMB) and produced by Al Majaz Amphitheater, will transform Al Majaz Amphitheater into a breathtaking spectacle of attractive visuals, poetry, and theater to bring the history of the emirate, including its historic locations, people, and achievements, to life through a blend of poetry and narration.
On January 25-26 and 28-29, Narratives of the Place (Sard Al Makan) will bring together prominent artists, performers, and playwrights from around the UAE and around the world to commemorate Sharjah’s past and offer a glimpse into its future.
A cast of over 100 renowned regional and international artists, as well as a world-renowned stage and production crew, are featured in the play. The live show will weave episodes from the emirate’s history to create a compelling narration of Sharjah’s story – its time, place, and people. It will be implemented by creative project company Multiple International in collaboration with The 7 Fingers.
In accordance with the UAE government’s efforts to combat the spread of COVID-19, strict preventive measures will be implemented to ensure the safety of attendees.
