Ramadan, the holiest month in the Islamic calendar, and to celebrate the occasion, SHEIN, a leading online fashion retailer, has unveiled two new collections. These collections cater to a range of styles and can be worn for various events throughout the month. The collection includes traditional Arabic designs, sophisticated styles, and elevated leisurewear, which are suitable for both adults and children. This makes it the perfect opportunity for shoppers to update their wardrobes with stylish and affordable outfits for the month’s festivities.

To learn more about SHEIN’s Ramadan campaign, we sat down with popular influencer Shahad Hassan, who collaborated with the brand for this project. In this interview, she shares her insights into the campaign, personal style, favorite Ramadan traditions, and more.

Q. Congratulations on starring and collaborating with SHEIN for the Ramadan campaign! Can you tell us more about this project?

I was very happy to participate in this collaboration because I have always been a very big fan of Shein and their new clothes design ideas. Especially when I saw the new Ramadan collection I was very excited to try them on and wear them during Ramadan. And this time I mainly promote the Najma collection, I like it very much.

Q. From sharp dresses to shimmering jumpsuits, your fans have seen you acing it all. But what is Shahad’s personal style? What do you love to wear when you’re not out and about?

My personal style outside is usually depending on what I’m doing. Some days I wear colorful matching sets because, in my opinion, they’re very comfortable and very practical. On other days when I want to be glammed up I wear dresses or formal. When I’m not out I like to wear baggy comfortable pajama sets.

Q. Have you ever designed before? What are the rules you respect in this collection?

I have never designed before but hopefully, I will be able to do that in the future. I respect that this collection has variated styles that are suitable for every taste. People have different tastes in fashion and I think Shein achieved satisfying these different tastes with that collection.

Q. What is your go-to outfit for Iftar parties during Ramadan?

My go-to for Iftar and Suhoor Parties is Abayas, which SHEIN has lots of them to choose from. They are very practical and elegant, especially during Ramadan.

Q. Ramadan is a special time for all. What’s your favorite Ramadan tradition? The festive season helps us all come together with the people that matter most to us. How do you like to spend quality time with your family?

My favorite Ramadan tradition is gathering with the family at Iftar time, for me, it makes the food taste better! Even before Iftar, preparing the food is also special for me. My husband does not like to cook and doesn’t even know how to cook, but in Ramadan, he suddenly LOVES entering the kitchen and participating in the cooking. Another tradition that I love is watching Ramadan shows, such as series and other shows. Watching Ramadan shows gives me a very cozy feeling.

Q. What would you say are the good and the not-so-good aspects of your job?

The good aspect of my job is that I got to work with what I love the most! Wich is filming and creating content. I’m also a YouTuber with more than 8 million subscribers and I love making funny youtube videos, such as challenges or even my life routine. The not-so-good is that it can be stressful sometimes and some days I’m out of ideas for new content, but that’s ok because it is good and bad in every job!

Q. Do you think digital fashion is a disrupter to influencer culture? If so, is it a positive or negative one?

I know that during the past epidemic, the development of digital fashion has accelerated, and it has had a positive impact on environmental protection. indeed she has a certain impact on Influencers, but I think people’s creativity is unlimited, so digital fashion will Motivate influencers to create better content.

Q. In your opinion, what are some of the challenges that come with being a fashion influencer?

First of all your content has to be interesting, engaging, and useful to people, so you have to be creative enough to make good content. At the same time you have to be persistent, and patient, and keep doing videos so that one day when your opportunity comes, you will be seen by people

Q. In which way do you think social media shapes how consumer shop?

Social media is very important when it comes to how customer shops, as an influencer it’s very important for my followers to see how products look on. Or how clothes look when someone is wearing and showing them!

Ramadan is a time of reflection, prayer, and fasting, but it’s also a time for family and community gatherings, Iftar dinners, and Eid celebrations. So join us as we delve into the world of Ramadan fashion and discover the latest trends that will make your celebrations even more special.
