Singer Vehicle Design has unveiled its latest automotive creation: the 911 Carrera Coupe Reimagined. Inspired by the wide-body G-series Porsche 911s of the 1980s, this limited-edition model blends heritage design with advanced motorsport technology. Only 100 units will be produced, making it one of Singer’s most exclusive offerings to date.
At the centre of the car is a new 4.0-litre naturally aspirated flat-six engine, engineered in collaboration with Cosworth. It delivers 420 horsepower and revs beyond 8,000 rpm. Notably, this powertrain combines water-cooled heads and air-cooled cylinders—a first for Singer. A six-speed manual gearbox sends power to the rear wheels, and drivers can choose between five dynamic drive modes. Titanium exhausts and carbon-ceramic brakes enhance both performance and sound.
For optimal handling, the car rides on a reinforced Type 964 chassis, developed with support from Red Bull Advanced Technologies. It features electronically adjustable suspension and optional active aero, including a speed-activated rear wing. Lightweight centre-lock wheels further refine its track credentials.
Singer crafted the exterior entirely from carbon fibre, keeping the design true to Porsche’s iconic Super Sport Equipment line. Retro-styled bodywork is paired with modern performance elements, including flared arches and ducktail-inspired spoilers. Two launch models highlight its dual character: the elegant Celeste Passalacqua touring version and the track-focused Giallo Segnale edition.
Personalised Interiors with Modern Tech
Inside, every car is fully customisable. Owners can choose from vintage-inspired textiles, burnished leather finishes, and bespoke trims. At the same time, modern conveniences like Apple CarPlay and discreet navigation systems ensure daily usability. This thoughtful blend of past and present extends across every detail.
Singer rigorously tests each car at global circuits such as Nürburgring and Nardò. This ensures that each vehicle offers not just beauty but performance worthy of its legacy. As Rob Dickinson, Singer’s founder, put it:
“Hans Mezger’s masterpiece—restored, reimagined, and reborn—is at the heart of the car. It captures the emotional power of a golden era and brings it to life for today’s enthusiast.”
With demand already high, the 911 Carrera Coupe Reimagined promises to be a must-have for collectors and driving purists alike. It’s not just a tribute to Porsche heritage—it’s a bold redefinition of it.
