The wait is over for thrill addicts in Dubai, as the recently opened Sky View Dubai allows them to slide down from a high-rise building or walk along a ledge hundreds of feet above. Address Sky View, a three-part attraction in Downtown Dubai, opened its doors to the public in November, providing visitors an observatory, glass slide, and edge-walk experience.
The observatory, which is located on level 52 of the Address hotel’s two towers, transports visitors above the skies through a panoramic glass elevator. One may go up a spiral staircase from the glass lift to level 53, all while taking in spectacular views of the Burj Khalifa, Downtown Dubai, and Sheikh Zayed Road.
From level 53, a 46-meter glass walkway connects the two towers, which is now open to the public via Sky Views Dubai. Adventurers can use their photographic skills to their advantage here, since the scenery is breathtaking. The Sky Views Glass Slide has a transparent bottom and sides, allowing you to see all around you as you slide down.
Last but not least, the Sky Views EdgeWalk adventure is just for the adventurous. The Walk is a hands-free stroll along the ledge of the 53rd level, transporting you outside the building with no barriers between you and the view, and providing a plethora of opportunities for excellent and unique photographs.
Thrill-seekers can try their hand at the adventuring trio, which provides guests with a safety harness and requires them to undergo a safety briefing before stepping out onto the ridge.
