Sou Fujimoto has introduced the first Baccarat-branded residential project in Abu Dhabi with the launch of Baccarat Residences Saadiyat. As a result, the development strengthens the luxury residential pipeline within the Saadiyat Cultural District. Notably, the project comprises 77 high-end homes distributed across two sculptural towers defined by flowing, shoreline-inspired curves. In addition, the architecture positions the scheme as a visual landmark within the city’s expanding cultural and tourism corridor.
Design language and branded identity
From a design perspective, the towers adopt undulating forms that echo the island’s coastal setting and reinforce a soft, organic skyline profile. At the same time, the project integrates the heritage of Baccarat into a contemporary residential environment. Importantly, the development is delivered by Aldar as part of its wider premium waterfront strategy. Furthermore, the residences range from large-format apartments to four-bedroom sky villas and two signature penthouses. Consequently, all units benefit from panoramic views of the Arabian Sea and surrounding cultural assets, including Louvre Abu Dhabi and Guggenheim Abu Dhabi.
Interiors, amenities and lifestyle proposition
Inside the towers, interiors by StudioPCH combine neoclassical references with material cues inspired by Baccarat crystal. In parallel, the amenity offering targets ultra-high-net-worth residents through a private wellness sanctuary and an outdoor infinity pool with cabanas. Additionally, the lifestyle package includes access to private aviation arrangements and bespoke interior design support. As a result, the project positions design-led architecture, branded luxury and concierge-level services as a single integrated residential investment proposition for the Saadiyat market.
