Fossil has partnered with Star Wars to introduce The Mandalorian Collection, a limited-edition release that merges cinematic world-building with contemporary watch design. The duo of timepieces draws directly from the visual language of the Disney+ series The Mandalorian, translating character and narrative elements into material and mechanical features.
Everett Mandalorian Watch channels armour and precision
Leading the capsule is the 42MM Everett Mandalorian Watch, designed with a gunmetal stainless steel case and matching bracelet that reference battle-ready armour. The dial incorporates the Clan Mudhorn emblem, while a layered chest plate structure evokes the protective qualities of beskar metal.
Functionally, the watch features a sub-second three-hand movement, in line with the collection’s emphasis on precision. Meanwhile, luminous indexes and a handset inspired by the Razor Crest’s weaponry introduce subtle narrative cues. The caseback is engraved with artwork depicting the Clan of Two, reinforcing the object’s storytelling dimension.

Consequently, the Everett model positions itself at the intersection of technical watchmaking and character-driven design. Moreover, its industrial finish underscores a utilitarian aesthetic rooted in the series’ visual identity.
Neutra Grogu Watch introduces softer material contrast
In contrast, the 38MM Neutra Grogu Watch adopts a more tactile and character-led approach. It features a silver stainless steel case paired with a robe-inspired suede strap, which references Grogu’s appearance.
The dial’s green finish, combined with disc hands and luminous elements, creates a softer visual language. Additionally, pram-textured detailing on the case exterior nods to the character’s iconic transport pod. Therefore, the design balances playfulness with refined construction, appealing to both collectors and design-focused audiences.
Collectible packaging expands experiential design
Both timepieces are individually numbered and presented in custom collector’s boxes that extend the narrative beyond the watch itself. Each package includes immersive sound components, exclusive lapel pins and certificates of authenticity.
The Everetts’ display box plays the phrase “This is the way,” while the Neutras’ box features the audio sequence “Spit that out” followed by Grogu’s giggle. As a result, the unboxing experience becomes an integral part of the product design, reinforcing emotional engagement.
The collection launches on May 4 via Fossil’s webstore and select retail locations. Ultimately, the release demonstrates how licensed collaborations continue to evolve, using detailed design language and material storytelling to translate cinematic universes into functional objects.
