TAG Heuer marks its official comeback to the Goodwood Festival of Speed in 2025 with a special limited-edition chronograph. The TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph x Festival of Speed honors British motorsport culture while drawing from the brand’s long-standing racing legacy.
The timepiece is housed in a 42mm stainless steel case and features a deep green clou de Paris dial, inspired by the classic Goodwood Green. Red accents and a brown perforated leather rally strap enhance the vintage look, evoking the style of 1970s racing gloves. Inside, TAG Heuer’s in-house calibre TH20-00 automatic movement delivers reliable chronograph functionality, date display, and 100-meter water resistance. The sapphire case back showcases the Goodwood Festival of Speed logo, along with an individual engraving that reads “XXX of 100,” emphasizing its rarity.
Built for Collectors and Racing Enthusiasts
TAG Heuer will initially offer this watch to Goodwood Road Racing Club members. Only 100 pieces will be made, underscoring its exclusivity. Through this release, the Swiss brand reinforces its deep connection to motorsport and collector culture.
Antoine Pin, CEO of TAG Heuer, stated, “The watch is not just a timepiece, but a cultural tribute to motorsport’s past and future.” His comment highlights the emotional significance behind the design. Likewise, The Duke of Richmond, founder of the Goodwood Festival of Speed, added that the collaboration is “a shared passion realized.”
Timely Tribute to Formula 1’s 75th Anniversary
Set for release in June 2025, the chronograph arrives just in time for this year’s highly anticipated Goodwood Festival. The event will commemorate 75 years of Formula 1, attracting motorsport enthusiasts from across the globe. With its blend of vintage aesthetics and modern engineering, the Carrera x Festival of Speed is expected to stand out as a prized collectible.
