The Chainsmokers, who just released their first single “High” off their highly anticipated new album, and The Kid LAROI will be joined by an additional 25 supporting music acts and more than a dozen world-class NFT artists as part of the two-day roster. The festival is developed in collaboration with Ryan Doherty, a former Life is Beautiful partner, and Chris Racan, a former Kaaboo executive. In early February, the full music and NFT artist roster will be revealed.
Nate Mohler and Alec Maassen, two prominent NFT artists, are co-creative directing the NFT art programme, which will immerse guests in an immersive, interactive experience. NFTs will be featured as the festival centerpiece for the first time to honor the NFT movement in person.
Afterparty’s Utopian NFTs and other unique digital art pieces will be featured in digital art exhibition activations. These sculptures will be brought to life via human-scale 4K and 8K monitors, transforming your usual gallery into a multidimensional junction of imagery, music, light, and space.
The generative Utopian NFT collection by Afterparty serves as both digital art and “all-access” festival passes. These NFTs open tangible, real-world experiences in the metaverse and in real life, such as exclusive artist-level connections at the festival and beyond, because they are designed to have intrinsic value.
Each of the 1,500 NFTS in the collection is one-of-a-kind, exclusively live-minted, and will exist on the Ethereum blockchain in perpetuity. Sia, Just Maiko, and jxdn were among the first artists to live-mint Afterparty’s NFTs in an undisclosed location.
