The route passes through the Al Quoz Creative Zone and runs for 6 kilometers between three major roads: Sheikh Zayed Road, First Al Khail Road, and Marabea’ Street. To complement Al Quoz Creative Zone’s creative nature, the RTA has finalized a new visual identity branding for buses serving the area.
The RTA project is one of the infrastructure priorities for ensuring flexible mobility within the Al Quoz Creative Zone, and it is part of the project’s implementation plan, which aims to create an integrated creative system that meets the needs of cultural and creative talents and entrepreneurs, with the goal of transforming the zone into a regional and global hub that welcomes talent to live and work.
Marwan Ali Naqi, Director of Dubai Culture’s Strategy & Corporate Excellence Department and Project Manager of Al Quoz Creative Zone Stated, “By combining creativity and investment prospects with different returns, talents are given access to additional economic value for their creative input.”
“Dubai Culture values its strategic cooperation with the RTA, which was instrumental in the project’s realization. By assigning a particular character and giving an artistic touch to the Al Quoz neighborhood, this step serves as a critical tributary and a fresh addition to the features of its growing creative sector,” Naqi remarked.
The effort, according to Al Banna, is part of a package aimed at improving project infrastructure and integrating it with Al Quoz’s transportation network and soft mobility modes. “It involves the installation of bike paths, individual transportation options, a pedestrian-friendly environment, a beautiful pedestrian bridge, and a rebranded external identity at the district’s entrances.”
