The Hotel Show Dubai 2021, the largest event of its kind in the region, returned live and in-person at the Dubai World Trade Centre on 31st May 2021 till 2nd June 2021. The show welcomed thousands of enthusiastic visitors and exhibitors from over 20 countries. Under this year’s theme, ‘Redefining Hospitality’, The Hotel Show Dubai offered the industry professionals in the Middle East a powerful platform from which to source, connect and learn about critical topics over the course of three inspirational days.
His Royal Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum inaugurated the 21st edition of The Hotel Show Dubai which added significance to the opening moment and underlining the importance of live events as an integral element of the region’s hospitality industry.
Exhibitors included a selection of leading regional and international brands, with attendance from a raft of notable industry leaders who are participating in a full schedule of seminars, live competitions, conferences, and demonstrations, providing many networking possibilities and the exchange of inspiring ideas.
The Hotel Show included a free-to-attend F&B Stakeholders Summit as part of the programme. The F&B Stakeholders Summit has been introduced to address the major issues the industry has faced after a pivotal year for the food and beverage industry. The Summit included focused live discussions. Many renowned speakers and panelist including Andy Cuthbert, Chairman of the Emirates Culinary Guildand General Manager for Jumeirah Creekside Hotel and Jumeirah Hospitality, Madinat Jumeirah Conferences & Events, Samantha Wood, Founder of Foodiva, Joey Ghazal, Founder & Managing Partner at The Maine New England Brasserie Company, Edward Harvey, Director, Elevate and Antonio Gonzales, CEO of Sunset Hospitality Group participated in the event.
One of the most notable features of the show was HITEC Dubai, the world largest and oldest technology exposition and conference brand, organized by Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP). HITEC Dubai provided Middle Eastern buyers access to the latest systems and products that are breaking new ground. The show also offered an education program and an environment for one-to-one business meetings.
INDEX, the largest and longest running collection of interior products for trade buyers in the Middle East returned alongside the Hotel Show. The event allowed the interiors industry to meet once again, and pointed to a positive new chapter for both INDEX and the regional design community after a highly challenging period. The fair offered valuable access and insights to the latest industry trends and developments, as well as free seminars, networking opportunities, product showcases and engaging experience. INDEX has enjoyed long-term success as the leading platform that connects architects, designers, buyers, developers and distributors with local and international furniture, lighting, décor and surface material brands, trend-setting start-ups and the biggest international names in the interior furnishings and fit-out scene for every type of project
The Hotel Show Dubai also confirmed Poland as its supporting Country partner at the 21st Edition. This enhanced business and trade relations between Poland and UAE at this crucial time for the hospitality industry. This partnership brought in the latest Polish products, services, technologies and leading hospitality suppliers to the UAE which was showcased at The Polish Pavilion; an expansive pace featuring Polish products supplied by exhibiting companies.
Dubai Tourism also joined as the supporting partner for its Hospitality Leadership Forum. Dubai Tourism worked closely with stakeholders across the public and private sectors to create the foundations first to restart tourism, and then to recapture the growth of recent years.
The Hotel Show and The Waterfront Market partnered up to support the local F&B Industry ,as an exclusive supplier of all fish and seafood ingredients to chefs participating at the Chefs Table competition at the 21stedition of the trade show. The Waterfront Market ensured chefs and their teams are using the freshest and best quality seafood products. The Waterfront Market showcased over 350 species of fish from the region and around the world and had a dedicated section for locally produced products.
The event encouraged a strong revival of the hospitality industry, indicating a bright and prosperous future for all those involved.
