The three-day cultural event “Egypt and UAE…One Heart,” honoring the 50th anniversary of relations between the UAE and Egypt, was held in Cairo, Egypt, under the patronage of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has come to an end, as informed by Minister of Culture and Youth Noura Bint Mohammed Al Kaabi.
The ministers from both nations, as well as representatives from industry and culture, as well as thought leaders and media people, attended the event. The tour of Al Kaabi began with a discussion on culture titled “Highlights of the UAE-Egypt Cultural Cooperation.”

She emphasized that the partnership between the two nations has a solid foundation founded on decades of fraternal connections originating from the vision of the Founding Father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and added that it represents a unique and inspirational example of collaboration.
She also lauded the Arab Republic of Egypt’s leadership in the region’s different spheres of development, thought, culture, and the arts under President Abdel Fattah El Sisi. Every Arab has a special place in their heart for Egypt’s ancient history and civilization, which dates back millions of years. In the UAE, teaching Egyptian history is a required subject in schools. At every level, students are taught about the unique contribution of Egyptian authors, novelists, and filmmakers and are taught to respect these figures as well as other Egyptian cultural icons.
The “Secrets of Time” installation by artist el Seed encourages the visitor to enter and explore the brilliant world of the artistic installation just in front of the pyramids. Al Kaabi also went to the “Egypt and UAE…One Heart” shows at the Radio Cinema, Access Gallery, and Founder Spaces.
To learn more about the participating artists’ works, she met with a few of them. She also went to other museums and cultural establishments.
