The 11th edition of InClassica, regarded as the world’s top classical music festival, will return to Dubai for a four-week celebration of world-class classical music performance and worldwide collaboration. InClassica 2022 will include 50 world-renowned singers, three major orchestras, and 11 distinguished conductors over the course of a month of nightly concerts, with 26 performances taking place at Dubai Opera.
The Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, Berlin Symphony Orchestra, and Slovak Philharmonic Orchestra will perform at InClassica. Dmitry Yablonsky, Conrad van Alphen, Gianluca Marciano, Marius Stravinsky, Gergely Madaras, and Massimiliano Caldi will be among the famous maestros performing with these prestigious orchestras.
The festival will feature works by Verdi, Beethoven, Debussy, Mendelssohn, Strauss, Dvoák, and Composer-in-Residence Alexey Shor, as well as a broad and fascinating repertoire of well-known classics and contemporary masterpieces. Mr. Shor is a New York-based composer whose works have been performed at some of the world’s most prestigious classical music venues, including the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC, the Berlin Philharmonic in Berlin, the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Gasteig in Munich, Wigmore Hall in London, Carnegie Hall in New York, and the Musikverein in Vienna.
InClassica will include a great lineup of internationally renowned A-class soloists. Every concert has something unique to offer. SAMIT is happy to propose the third edition of the “Classic Strings” Violin and Cello International Competition, which will take place from May 9th to 23rd, 2022, in addition to the festival’s schedule of world-class performances. This competition will bring some of the top young string musicians from around the world to Dubai for a showcase of creative quality and technical prowess.
