Igor Dubovoy is an experienced artist from Russia whose paintings have been featured in solo and group exhibitions internationally. Inspired by his travels, Dubovoy paints city scenes and landscapes in oil and watercolor on canvas. “I love to travel and, in my works, I reflect the beauty of the world around us,” says Igor.
The artist was born in 1972, in Moscow, the capital of Russia. He still lives and works there. His paintings are characterized by the presence of light and their realistic quality, transporting the viewer to different parts of the world. “I have no special education in Art, but it does not prevent me from loving art,” says Igor.
A great number of his paintings have scattered around the world and settled in private collections in England, America, Australia, and Europe. Igor has participated in various exhibitions including the 2018 Art Life International Art Festival Moscow and the 2018 Exhibition in the Museum of Russian Art, New York, USA. After the International Exhibition of Watercolors in Fabriano, Italy, his work was selected for the Fabriano Watercolor Museum.
In the artist’s opinion, the attitude to watercolor painting has immensely changed recently. Igor uses special watercolor paper from leading European manufacturers for his works. The artist depicts the world around us in an exceptionally beautiful manner with his artworks which are usually oil paintings or watercolors.
His work can make people teleport from where they are to where they see in an instant. His works are focused on portraying the beauty of everyday places that we fail to notice normally.
