The World Painting art project on exhibit in Kazakhstan’s pavilion at Expo 2020 in Dubai has been inducted into the Guinness World Records book.

More than 1,900 people from 193 nations have signed the painting, which depicts a model of the Earth. The canvas size matches Earth’s decreased physical properties .

The painting’s basic idea is inspired by Expo 2020 Dubai’s theme, “Connecting Minds, Creating the Future.” The art project’s purpose is to bring individuals from all around the world together in one work of art, which will be shown in the Kazakh Pavilion. “The painting represents virtues such as peace, unity, harmony, and friendship,” according to the press release.

Bai Ling, an actress from Hollywood, Roy Jones, a former professional boxer from the United States, Alexander Vinokurov, a Kazakh athlete, and Timur Bekmambetov, a Kazakh-Russian film director, all made their pencil markings on the painting.

The organizers estimate that by the end of the show on March 31, the total number of persons who have contributed to this painting will be 2,020.
