Sharjah Art Foundation is bringing an incredible lineup for autumn 2022. Visit Pop South Asia: Artistic Explorations in the Popular, a newly inaugurated exhibition that features various artists from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.
The artwork, ranging from the middle of the 20th century to the present, uses humour and irony to highlight topics on self and society.
The second iteration of this three-year project, Streaming Senses, is also accessible at Al Mujeirha Art Spaces for those who enjoy films and moving pictures. There will be a showcase of moving image art comprising twenty-two rarely displayed pieces from prestigious worldwide universities.
