Nearly 2,000 troops, artists, athletes, and students from 14 art and sports units have been mobilized to take part in a special art program for the SEA Games 31, which will be held in Ha Noi from May 12 to 23.

Members of the units were divided into five groups and held rehearsals in five different locations. On May 4, the major rehearsal began at the MNH National Stadium.

The art program for the opening ceremony centered on traditional Vietnamese and Southeast Asian cultural aspects.

The director’s team worked with the Ha Noi Department of Culture and Sports and the VietNam Olympic Committee to contact countries and ask them to submit unique photos of their country, people, culture, and art for inclusion in the exhibition.

40 other sports logos and mascots were also displayed. Publicity initiatives, as well as logistical, tourist, medical, and information technology services for the largest regional sports event, have been initiated to promote Ha Noi as an appealing and safe destination.

Furthermore, the municipal government has established protocols to assure the event’s security and safety. The Ha Noi Youth Union has completed the recruitment and training of 3,000 volunteers to assist with events at the city’s tournament venues.
