Timberland has teamed up with Jacquemus for a unique collaboration, introducing a revamped version of the brand’s iconic 3-Eye Lug Boat Shoe. Dubbed “La Bateau,” this collaboration offers a seasonally perfect spin on the classic boat shoe silhouette, with a vibrant “Banana Yellow” colourway.
Originally released in 1978, the Timberland boat shoe has become synonymous with quality craftsmanship and style. The 2025 “La Bateau” iteration retains the signature features that have made it a staple for many, including durable premium leather uppers, a softer leather lining for added comfort, and the brand’s instantly recognisable rugged lug outsole.
Parisian Elegance Meets Outdoor Durability
Adding his signature Parisian touch, Jacquemus designer Simon Porte has incorporated subtle yet impactful details into the shoe’s design. The boat shoe features gold-colored lace-tip eyelets at the ends of the cotton laces, one side with square tips and the other with round ones. The cobranded gold-coloured metal lace keepers further enhance the design, adding a refined yet playful touch.
The Timberland and Jacquemus “La Bateau” boat shoe will be available online and in-store at Jacquemus, as well as in-store at Timberland’s Tokyo location. It will also be available on Timberland’s website starting April 23, with a retail price of £225 GBP / $250 USD.
