For the art project, DIS students in Years 6 and 8 displayed various interpretations of Creative Ecosystems. In order to brand the Al Badia Terraces construction fence at Deira International School (DIS) in Dubai Festival City, Al-Futtaim Group Real Estate and Al-Futtaim Education Foundation have teamed up.
In order to illustrate the uniqueness of the kids and the eco-diversity, DIS students from Years 6 and 8 worked on the project to turn the hoarding fence into artwork showing many interpretations of “Creative Ecosystems.”
The art show is intended to foster a sense of community in the Al Badia neighbourhood of Dubai Festival City and to honour the city’s students. The developer originally revealed Al Badia Terraces toward the end of June 2022.
Students in years six and eight were given a specific area to design the fence and display their artistic talents. Additionally, students were encouraged to use various media and artistic mediums to create a number of pieces of art with the topic of “Creative Ecosystems.”
According to the statement, the imaginative project gave the students an exciting chance to work together and harness their original perspectives and creative thinking. It also encourages teamwork, goal achievement within deadlines, persistence, and self-confidence.
“We are excited to showcase the creative artwork done by the students at Deira International School,” said Samer Zabian, Director of Residential & Commercial Property at Al-Futtaim Group Real Estate. “We always strive to encourage creativity amongst our students in our schools and build a sense of community at DFC.”
With the new eye-catching fence exhibition and the upcoming Al Badia Terraces, the partnership hopes to promote Dubai Festival City and the neighbourhood as a thriving, all-encompassing destination that offers a way of life that brings tourists and their families together to enjoy entertainment, hospitality, and leisure options.
The partnership with Deira International School provides the community’s inhabitants and renters with a new sight-seeing location, the statement noted, in keeping with Dubai Festival City’s objective to invest in developing community links and creating innovative communities.
