The third season of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority’s (Dubai Culture) e-learning initiative was launched in collaboration with LinkedIn, the largest professional network in the world, in order to offer opportunities for professional growth to UAE-based members of the creative community through the LinkedIn educational platform. The Authority encourages all interested creative talent and business owners to sign up and take advantage of the courses and seminars that will help them refine their abilities and grow their enterprises.

Starting this month, users will be able to sign up for courses through the initiative’s free over 16,000 business, technology, and creative skills courses offered via the LinkedIn education platform that are relevant to their careers and hobbies.

Director of the Marketing & Corporate Communication Division at Dubai Culture, Shaima Rashed Al Suwaidi, stated: “The Authority’s third-year relationship with LinkedIn fits within the Authority’s efforts to provide cutting-edge digital platforms and programmes to support creatives in the UAE. It has assisted members of the creative community in overcoming the obstacles provided by COVID-19 over the past two years by allowing them to digitally access a variety of specialised educational courses and resources from the comfort of their homes.By funding accessible and creative programmes and projects, we hope to encourage people who want to learn and grow their talents wherever they are in the nation this year. In order to strengthen the cultural and creative industries in the emirate and solidify its position as a global centre for culture, an incubator for creativity, a thriving hub for talent, as well as the global capital of the creative economy, this is part of our mission to support an ecosystem that encourages the growth of emerging talent and helps them to flourish.

In collaboration with LinkedIn, colleges, and creative and cultural institutions in Dubai, participants will also have the opportunity to take part in a series of workshops this year that are designed to improve their understanding of creative and professional domains. The workshop’s subjects will be divided into two main categories: best practises for creating a professional personal profile and innovative educational offerings (this includes introducing the training courses offered by LinkedIn and how to access them).

The project provides certified specialised training programmes created by a team of accomplished international specialists with the goal of enhancing the skills of creative professionals in the field of business management. Among other areas of creativity and business management, the courses cover digital business transformation, crisis management, business development, legal and financial issues, and creative skills such as photography, graphic design, electronic game and product design, visual arts, films, and fashion.
