While the world was enthusiastically watching the opening ceremony of the FIFA World Cup on Sunday, Dubai was up for a different game as it celebrated motherhood in a spectacular evening that paid tribute to all the mothers through their ‘Wonder Mom Awards 2022’ night. The remarkable event was organized by Gulf Time Media LLC (GTM) and powered by Danube. It was held in The Ritz-Carlton, DIFC, and was attended by 450+ people from diverse backgrounds across the UAE.
Joe Mohan hosted the event and kept the audience intrigued throughout the event. This award night was one of a kind, empowering mothers from all walks of life. The eminent personalities who graced the occasion were Sheikh Majid Rashid Al Mualla, CEO of Majestic Investments, Dr. Kabir, COO of Majestic Investments, Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher Khalifa Al Khalifa, Princess of Bahrain, H.E. Juma Madani, H.E. Munira Alblooshi, Kanika Kapoor, Bollywood Singing Sensation, Dipika Kakkar Ibrahim, an Indian Actress, Ms. Shabnam Kassam, Director of Danube Welfare and Ms. Sameera Sajan.
The award night was a humble attempt by Gulf Time Media LLC (GTM) to recognize the painstaking efforts taken by mothers in nurturing their tiny tots and bring together various brands that have made parenting easy—thanks to their innovative products and services! It celebrated and empowered mothers in the UAE who have achieved remarkable milestones on the professional front while effortlessly pulling off the role of being a mother. It gave them the due recognition they earnestly deserved.
The magnificent award night added a feather to the organizers’ cap as they set the ‘Lincoln World Record’ for presenting the most awards in one night. There were 35+ motherhood categories from different spheres of life, and a winner was selected from every type. For brands, there were more than 30+ categories from which winners were selected.
Apart from honoring mothers from various categories, it also presented an opportunity for mothers to walk the ramp irrespective of their age. There were two fashion ramp walks, one on Ethnic Wear by ‘The Old Story,’ and the other on Modern Wear by ‘PriyaFashions.’
