South Korea’s streetwear label WORKSOUT has joined forces with Nike for a striking reinterpretation of the iconic Air Max 95 silhouette, dubbed the “Uniform” colorway. Inspired by school uniforms worn by the brand’s founders, the collaboration blends nostalgic elements with cultural symbolism in a sleek, army olive camo-like design.
A Tribute to Uniformity and Identity
The WORKSOUT x Nike Air Max 95 “Uniform” takes a military-inspired aesthetic rooted in personal memory and national culture. Dressed in tonal greens reminiscent of standard-issue uniforms, the upper features camo-patterned overlays that reference the structured, functional design of traditional Korean school attire.
Adding a cultural layer, the pair features Hangul text meaning “become indispensable,” reinforcing the message of individuality within uniformity. WORKSOUT’s signature badge sits prominently on the tongue, seamlessly blending with the shoe’s overall visual language.
The black midsole and outsole create a bold contrast against the textured upper, while classic Air Max cushioning ensures performance remains intact.
Exclusivity and Release Details
Set to drop later this month, the WORKSOUT x Nike Air Max 95 “Uniform” will be limited to just 3,000 pairs globally. While pricing has yet to be announced, the pair is expected to be available via Nike and select retailers in May 2025.
This collaboration not only reinterprets a heritage silhouette but also reflects WORKSOUT’s philosophy of blending subcultural roots with elevated contemporary fashion.
