The countdown is officially over! World Art Dubai 2025 (WAD) will open its doors tomorrow, April 17, at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Running until Sunday, April 20, the fair marks its 11th edition with its largest and most diverse lineup to date.
This year, the event features over 400 artists and 120 galleries, representing 65 countries. With more than 10,000 artworks available, visitors will discover everything from classic oil paintings to modern digital masterpieces.
A Global Gathering of Art, Culture, and Innovation
Whether you’re an art collector, curator, or simply a creative enthusiast, WAD 2025 offers an experience like no other. The fair hosts 12 world pavilions, 54 live art and music performances, and 10 expert talks. In addition, guests can join 24 free workshops, designed for beginners and seasoned artists alike.

What Awaits Visitors at World Art Dubai 2025
- New International Pavilions: Art from Mongolia, Estonia, Zimbabwe, Australia, and China — this year’s Country of Honour — will be showcased for the first time.
- Emirati Pavilion: For the first time, 50 leading Emirati artists will take centre stage, including Mohammed Al Astad, Rashid Al Mulla, Abdulrahim Salim, and Dr. Najat Makki.
- The Textile Hub: Organized by Handmayk, this creative space highlights textile art, featuring 14 artists from 9 countries. Visitors can also join hands-on workshops covering tufting, embroidery, weaving, and fabric manipulation.
- Dubai Culture Creative Showcase: The stand features calligraphy, pottery, youth workshops, and live performances, all designed to spotlight the UAE’s rising talent.
- Art Mentorship Programme: Back for its second year, this initiative has doubled its intake. It offers young Emirati artists a chance to collaborate with mentors like Rashid Al Mulla, Dr. Najat Makki, and Abdulrahim Salim.
