The World Future Energy Summit 2027 will take place from January 12–14, 2027, at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi, bringing together energy leaders, policymakers, investors, technology companies and sustainability specialists. The event will focus on renewable energy, decarbonisation, climate technology and the infrastructure required for the global energy transition.
The Abu Dhabi summit is positioned as a major business and knowledge platform for the clean-energy sector. Moreover, its programme combines policy discussions, technology showcases, investor engagement and commercial networking across three days.
World Future Energy Summit 2027 Focuses on Energy Innovation
The summit is expected to bring together more than 51,000 attendees, alongside 500-plus exhibitors, 17 international pavilions and participants from 124 countries.
Furthermore, organisers estimate that exhibitors will connect with buyers and decision-makers associated with approximately $10 billion in active projects seeking technologies, products and services.
The programme will address renewable energy deployment, decarbonisation strategies, sustainability, and emerging technologies. Artificial intelligence is also becoming increasingly relevant to energy infrastructure, particularly as companies seek more efficient ways to manage generation, storage and consumption.
For businesses, the summit provides access to utilities, developers, governments, investors and other potential buyers. Consequently, the event serves both as a conference and a commercial marketplace for clean-energy solutions.
UAE Energy Transition Takes Centre Stage
The summit also reflects the UAE’s broader energy strategy. According to the event’s published roadmap, the country aims to increase installed clean-energy capacity from 14.2 GW to 19.8 GW by 2030, with renewables representing 32% of the total energy mix.
By 2040, the target is to raise clean energy’s share of total power consumption to 44%. Meanwhile, the UAE’s 2050 ambition includes achieving net-zero emissions and sourcing 50% of energy use from renewables.
These targets create a significant regional market for renewable generation, energy infrastructure and climate technologies. The summit therefore provides a platform for companies developing solutions across solar power, energy storage, efficiency, sustainability and related infrastructure.
The event will be held at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi. Opening hours are scheduled for 7:30am to 5pm on January 12, followed by 9am to 5pm on January 13 and 14.
