Y-3 has brought its Fall/Winter 2025 collection to the tennis court, combining sport with artistic expression. The 18-piece lineup spans menswear, womenswear, and footwear, presenting a fresh interpretation of the sport’s traditional sartorial codes. Drawing inspiration from the Japanese ink technique Suibokuga, the collection fuses abstract, fossil-amber-inspired designs with clean, straight lines to create a visually striking contrast.
This approach reflects Y-3’s commitment to merging creativity with performance. Ahead of the U.S. Open, the collection emphasizes both function and aesthetic, ensuring that athletes and style enthusiasts alike benefit from its thoughtful design.
Performance Meets Artistic Innovation
All pieces integrate adidas CLIMACOOL technology, which actively wicks and disperses sweat to optimise comfort and mobility on the court. Subtle functional details, such as hidden front zippers, enhance the apparel’s usability without compromising the visual impact.
Key pieces include the Y-3 Tennis FreeLift T-Shirt Pro, featuring bold ink splashes around the edges and a Y-3 logo on the chest. Footwear is similarly reimagined, with Y-3 updating adidas classics including the Defiant Speed 2, Avacourt 2, Adizero Ubersonic 5, Barricade 13, and Adizero Cybersonic 2, blending performance features with signature style cues.
Available Now for Court and Lifestyle
Captured in a dynamic lookbook by Michael Hauptman, the Fall/Winter 2025 tennis collection is now available through Y-3’s official webstore. With this release, Y-3 continues to challenge traditional sportswear norms, offering pieces that are equally suited for high-performance play or street-level fashion.
