Zara Home and British style platform Collagerie have unveiled their second design collaboration, titled A Common Thread. The new collection artfully fuses tactile craftsmanship and contemporary form, offering a curated range of homeware rooted in expressive design and material storytelling. Merging Collagerie’s love for vibrant artistry with Zara Home’s minimalist elegance, the collection delivers an elevated take on everyday living.

Artistry and Texture Reimagined in Daily Objects

A Common Thread builds on the creative synergy established during the brands’ first collaboration, introducing sculptural and richly detailed objects that are as functional as they are beautiful. The collection includes oversized ceramic platters, elongated lamps, and sumptuous throws—all unified by fluid shapes, painterly motifs, and a warm palette of earthy tones.

Each piece is designed to bring tactile storytelling into interior spaces, reflecting an understated luxury that appeals to both design purists and creative collectors. The collection channels the idea of “thread” not only through physical textures and woven materials but also in its conceptual link between artistry, form, and functionality.

Kavel Rafferty’s Signature Florals Add Vibrant Depth

A highlight of the collaboration is the inclusion of works by multidisciplinary artist Kavel Rafferty. Known for her painterly floral motifs and layered colour expressions, Rafferty’s art appears in select pieces including a lush, patterned blanket and a vivid triptych of technicolor wall hangings. Her contribution adds a lyrical, handmade sensibility to the otherwise sleek aesthetic, anchoring the entire collection in emotional resonance and creative depth.

Through her artwork, the line gains a dynamic interplay of bold hues and soft forms, encouraging a deeper engagement with objects that often go unnoticed in everyday use. The result is a collection where design and emotion meet, and where utility becomes a canvas for artistic expression.

Now Available Online and In Stores

The A Common Thread collection is now available through Zara Home and Collagerie’s online platforms. Prices range from approximately $13 to $699 USD, making the line accessible while retaining its artisanal appeal. Whether you’re seeking an accent piece or a statement textile, the collection offers thoughtful design infused with warmth and texture.

For those looking to add an artistic touch to their living spaces, this collaboration is both a celebration of design and a reflection of craftsmanship in modern interiors.
