Independent jewelry brand Avgvst has partnered with Crosby Studios to launch a striking, interchangeable jewelry collection that blurs the lines between art, design, and personal expression.
Rooted in Harry Nuriev’s concept of “Transformism”, the collection celebrates transformation, reimagining 24 everyday objects as polished sterling silver “trinkets” that can be worn across a silver chain or pair of hoop earrings.
Founded in 2019 by Natalia Bryantseva, Avgvst has become known for its minimalist craftsmanship and conceptual storytelling. Crosby Studios, the Paris and New York-based design practice led by Harry Nuriev, brings its bold, architectural sensibility to the collaboration, with a portfolio that includes projects for Nike, Valentino, and Dover Street Market.
Transforming the Everyday into the Extraordinary
The Avgvst x Crosby Studios collection transforms familiar objects, such as a comb, flip phone, or pair of sunglasses, into sculptural jewelry pieces, each embodying Nuriev’s playful reinterpretation of the mundane. A special sub-collection, “Rock’N’Droll,” pays tribute to music culture with four themed trinkets — a microphone, CD, cassette, and headphones.
Each piece is handcrafted in polished sterling silver, inviting wearers to mix, match, and layer the trinkets in countless ways. Whether worn singly or combined, the creations serve as a wearable manifesto — transforming the ordinary into art and rethinking the boundaries of adornment.
Launch Details
The Avgvst x Crosby Studios Interchangeable Jewelry Collection launches November 6, available through Avgvst’s flagship store in Berlin-Mitte and online.
