The Breguet Expérimentale 1 ushers in a daring new era for the Maison, combining avant-garde engineering with centuries of horological heritage. Unveiled as part of the new “Expérimentale” line, the watch is housed in a 43.5 mm round monobloc case made from 18k Breguet gold. In addition to elegance, the case offers durability with a sapphire crystal caseback, a non-screw crown, and water resistance up to 10 bar. The dial showcases Breguet pomme hands, while a tourbillon with a small seconds hand positioned on its axis serves as the centerpiece, illustrating the brand’s mastery of precision and visual harmony.
Advanced Movement and Precision
At the core of the Expérimentale 1 lies the Calibre 7250, a manual-winding movement designed to demonstrate technical prowess. It operates at a high frequency of 72,000 vph, which enhances both precision and stability. Furthermore, the movement integrates a tourbillon complication with the small seconds indicator located directly on the tourbillon axis. Despite its rapid oscillation, the movement retains a generous 72-hour power reserve. Its architecture includes 37 jewels and 266 components, all housed within just 6.3 mm of thickness. Additionally, the movement employs a flat silicon balance spring, highlighting Breguet’s commitment to advanced materials that improve chronometry.
Luxury Meets Sporty Durability
The timepiece is paired with a rubber strap fastened by a Breguet gold pin buckle, merging luxury materials with everyday practicality. Moreover, as a limited-edition release, the Expérimentale 1 is available exclusively upon request through Breguet’s online and offline boutiques. This combination of technical sophistication, design innovation, and exclusivity positions the Expérimentale 1 as a statement piece for collectors and enthusiasts alike.
