The PUMA MB.05 “Mist” expands the signature footwear portfolio of LaMelo Ball, offering a restrained alternative to the line’s typically neon-forward releases. This latest edition from PUMA introduces a cleaner visual direction, while still preserving the “Not From Here” identity that underpins Ball’s personal branding and on-court image. Built around an engineered mesh upper, the sneaker incorporates a repeating “1” graphic across the base to reinforce the athlete’s 1-of-1 positioning within the brand’s performance lineup. The structure is supported by a molded wing-heel strap and an external TPU cage, which together deliver lateral stability for fast directional changes and explosive movement.

Beneath the minimal white exterior, the MB.05 integrates PUMA’s NITROFOAM cushioning platform, using a nitrogen-injected midsole to balance lightweight construction with impact protection and responsive energy return. At the same time, metallic gold accents highlight the “Melo” tongue branding and the “One of One” inlay, adding contrast without disrupting the understated palette. The outsole, meanwhile, features a high-abrasion traction pattern combined with a molded skull graphic, enhancing grip during quick cuts and transitions while maintaining the model’s distinctive visual language.
